They are also conducting an internal audit of Jonathans relationship with all their other company accounts, mining hardware and computer systems. “There is no immediate threat to any of our mining clients at this time” explained Pate “those accounts are secured with separate controls to prevent against situations like this. “We have to go back through all of the systems Jonathan set up for us and make sure there are no other discrepancies. ” continued Pate inВ a private interview. Our investigation is specifically looking to uncover the cause of missing mining parts and equipment, diverted hashing power and other possible frauds perpetrated over the recent weeks at our Tampa data center. We are cooperating with law enforcement and other investigative agencies and will release any pertinent information directly to them after our independent investigation is complete. This is all we are at liberty to disclose about this investigation at this time. As for allegations of theft from BTCjam:It has recently come to our attention that Jonathan Simms is also suspected of walking away with as many as 55В Bitcoin from independent investors on the website BTCjam. Digital Mining Investments hired Jonathan as VP of Mining Operations but was not aware of his other outside entrepreneurial endeavors. Claims made by Jonathan on outside endeavors were not made in any official capacity as part of his role with Digital Mining Investments.
